What’s New at AHRN in 2026?

  • Rick West

As we move into 2026, AHRN is making several updates designed to improve clarity, accuracy and the overall experience for our users. These changes reflect our ongoing commitment to providing reliable information and helpful military PCS resources while continuing to evolve alongside our audience’s needs.

Below is a quick overview of what’s new.

Expanded Expert Review for AHRN Content

Beginning in 2026, AHRN has strengthened its editorial process by expanding expert review across select content. In addition to our internal editorial standards, articles will now be reviewed by additional qualified subject matter experts to help ensure accuracy, relevance and alignment with current best practices.

This added layer of review supports our goal of publishing content users can trust, especially when navigating complex or technical military or PCS topics. Expert review complements, but does not replace, our independent editorial process.

Update to Foreign Housing Listings

AHRN has also updated its housing listings to better align with how our platform is used today. As part of this change, foreign housing listings will no longer be available on the site. While blog posts that discuss living overseas such as moving to Italy or air bases in Seoul will still be live and active as a resource, property listings overseas will no longer be available.

We remain committed to helping users find the best military housing for their US stations and housing information that supports informed decision-making.

Coming Soon: The AHRN Minute Podcast and Toolkit Updates

In the coming weeks, we will be launching a new audio series called The AHRN Minute. This short-form podcast is designed to deliver quick, practical insights on topics relevant to our audience in an easy-to-consume format.

Each episode will focus on timely questions, emerging trends, and helpful takeaways, making it easier to stay informed even with a busy schedule. More details, including where to listen and the release schedule, will be shared soon.

Additionally, be on the lookout for a newly updated 2026 version of AHRN’s PCS Toolkit!

Looking Ahead

These updates are part of AHRN’s ongoing effort to enhance our service to users. As always, we will continue to listen, refine, and update our platform to better meet your needs.

We appreciate your continued trust and look forward to sharing more improvements throughout 2026.
