When asked “What are the important considerations when choosing a place to rent?”, the top 5 responses were:
- Location
- Rent
- Safe Neighborhood
- Appearance and Cleanliness
- Floorplan or layout
When asked “What neighborhood or building amenities are worth paying higher rent for?”, the top 5 responses were:
- In unit washer/dryer
- Central air
- High speed internet
- Dishwasher
- Patio, deck, or balcony
Tailoring your listing to the factors most important to renters searching for housing is important to catching the eye of a prospective tenant. Keep these factors in mind when describing your property in your AHRN.com listing.
- Use the Listing Title field to emphasize the most unique or differentiating feature of your property. Example: 5 min. to Base, 10 min. to Gate A, Recently Remodeled, Quiet Neighborhood, etc.
- Use the Property Description text to clearly explain the property features, keeping in mind those most important to your audience.
- Research other available listings in AHRN and compare your property’s amenities and rent to make sure you are competitively positioned.
